I've had the opportunity to create wedding floral designs for many couples over the years, but some of my favorites end up being the ones that take place in small town Iowa. There's just something so special about celebrating in your home town, where friends, family, and the community has seen you grow and evolve into the person you are today. Feelings of familiarity and warmth and your own personal history. Bailey and Mitch had one of those weddings, in their home town of Cascade, Iowa. It was such a wonderful day for these two, getting ready at their family homes, getting married at their historic church, and celebrating the romantic spring evening away with all their friends and family in tow.
Bailey dreamed of a soft spring palette, but didn't want to lean on the ever-popular blush and white combination. I absolutely loved her choice of colors and style for the wedding day! She went with a beautiful complimentary palette of the softest dusted lilac and sweet peach, and we designed everything in a romantic and classic garden style.
