More often than not, I help my couples plan their wedding flowers without ever getting the opportunity to meet them in person. With the technology we have available, planning a wedding long distance or simply to fit in with life is easy! So often my couples are busy as well - with school, work, and life of course - so I'm happy to make the process as easy as possible by conducting our meetings over the phone or video chat. Rylie was one of those brides who fit into both of these categories - she was planning her wedding from out of town, and was busy with her work in veterinary school! Working alongside Ashley at Elowen events, we were sure to take care of her and make the process of planning her wedding as easy as possible.
As for the design, she was after a modern yet classic feel for her summer wedding at Little Lights, and was looking for a calming floral palette of white and green. Her bouquet was a really beautiful one - she wanted something that was classically beautiful, as well as versatile. We designed it so she could hold it in multiple ways and it would look great from any angle. We used a variety of flowers throughout their wedding - roses, larkspur, orchids, alstroemeria, ranunculus, babies breath, and scabiosa were featured in the designs. They had a gorgeous half arch for their outdoor ceremony. In the reception space, we designed a lovely collection of classic low centerpieces, budvase designs, and greenery runners on the tables. But my favorite piece? The eye-catching head table bridge arrangement. This modern and minimally styled bridge featured a delicate greenery vine design that enhanced their 30+ foot long head table, and gave their large head table an intimate feeling.
