As a wedding florist, I get the opportunity to plan and celebrate with lots of couples by helping them with their wedding flowers...but this one was extra special! Not only was I a wedding vendor (as is my usual role in weddings), but I was also the maid of honor for my beautiful sister's wedding-and let me tell you, it was such a wonderful and memorable experience.
Casey and Matt chose to have their wedding in Matt's hometown of New Hampton-not all that far from the university where they met. Summer ended up being the perfect time of year-just enough time between school, farming, teaching, and coaching to relax and spend time to celebrate with family and friends.
They went with a classic palette of blush, white, and powder blue against sophisticated black suits and dresses. And to keep things fun and lighthearted, black and white buffalo check accents were added throughout.
It was such a wonderful day! I love these two so much and wish them a lifetime of happiness and adventure.
